PrePlan Your School Year Using the Ultimate Lesson Planner
& 40 Weekly Folders
With this system you will have ALL of your yearly planning done and have all of your graded materials ready to go before the school year begins. It will only take a few hours to have a completely organized school year. The most frequently asked questions about this program are answered below.
Q: Would you like to be ready for your entire school year in just 2 days?
A: You can preplan your entire year with 40 weekly lesson plan overviews.
Q: Why do you use 40 weeks instead of 36?
A: Technically, you only need to plan for 36 weeks, or 180 days. However, I plan my year for 40 weeks. This spreads my curriculum out and it becomes much easier to manage, especially with the unexpected of homeschooling. I find adding in unexpected field trips, road trips, new class or sport becomes much easier when I have a little extra give time.
Q: Even if I make plans, I find myself getting off track. How do you keep yourself accountable?
A: I break all consumable books down and place the pages into 40 weekly folders. We know that we need to complete each folder by the end of the week to stay on task. Our family has found this builds in accountability with small, manageable bits.
Q: Do I have to use The Ultimate Lesson Planner to work your system?A: No. However, I have spent the last 4 years fine tuning my planner to go along with my 40 week yearly planning.
Q: Will this system work with any curriculum?
A: Yes. It will work with any curriculum. It is all a matter of breaking everything down into manageable pieces.
Q: How long will it take me to plan my entire year?
A: This past year, I planned my daughter's 5th grade year (all of her weekly plans) in just 3 hours. It took me another 2 hours to tear apart the consumables and organize her folders. So in just 5 hours, I had our entire year planned and ready to go!
Q: What are the differences between the two planners?
A: The preschool planner is for 2-5 year olds. The elementary - high school planner is for K5-12th grade/ Kindergarten can be recorded in either planner.
Q: Will this CD run on a Mac?
